I went to this restaurant when I was in Florida. It sounded good, but burgers and sushi did not seem like a combination to me. Margot, Lizy and I tried it out because it looked good. We got bento boxes, calamari, and a burgushi. That right, a burgushi. A mix of a burger and sushi. I will get to that later. The calamari was amazing. It had a sweet and sour sauce poured over it and I will never eat calamari differently. None of that ketchup and mayonnaise with calamari crap. I want to learn how to make that sauce and pour it on everything. It was the perfect blend of the two flavors and neither was overpowering. Next, the bento boxes. It came with a mini burger, edamame, six pieces of sushi, fries, and cucumber. It was a lot more food than I was expecting. I got a normal California roll and there was nothing bad to saw. I would say that they put a lot of salt on the edamame, but I usually like things without salt. Now for the burgushi. It has burger elements in sushi form. It sounds strange, I know. I was skeptical at first, but once I tried it, I immediately knew why The Cowfish was so famous. We got a pulled pork burgushi with potato strings making up for sushi. It was so flavorful and not overpowering. I could have eaten ten plates of that. If you have a chance to eat here, I would definitely try it.
